An evening of rhythmic music featuring the percussive sounds of noted musician Dane Newlove and our brand-new tympani! The band will perform the great marches of Ohio natives Henry Fillmore and Karl King, plus music of Leroy Anderson, Gustav Holst, Dave Brubeck and John Philip Sousa.  It will be an exciting night of music with a beat!

Celebrating Sousa

Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center

An evening of Sousa marches, an exciting overture and several lighter tunes that might have made up a traditional John Philip Sousa concert. We will also present the annual Gail Woolley Scholarship Award to a promising high school musician and feature vocal and instrumental solos.

Welcome to the Cabaret

Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center

A night of fun and stimulating music highlighting marches, light lyrical tunes and solos and ensembles from the Lima Area Concert Band. Light snacks are provided while the audience enjoys sitting around tables throughout the exhibit hall. An audience favorite, Welcome to the Cabaret is a night sure to leave you tapping your feet and whistling the infectious tunes.

Lima Senior High School Auditorium

An evening featuring music made popular by Broadway, television and movies. Music has long been an element of stage drama and its usage has expanded into screen types like film, television, and even video games. Music often adds excitement and drama to the story presented and tonight’s concert of exciting and current music will take the audience on a musical journey to fantasy and adventure.
