2026 Subscription Series

The Lima Area Concert Band performs four concerts each year in the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in downtown Lima. Tickets are just $15 each and students of any age are always admitted for free. Season tickets are just $50 for all four concerts. A Patriotic Salute to America’s Birthday
Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center

This event features a collection of American music in honor of the 250th birthday of America. The program includes Clare Grundman’s “Spirit of 76,” which evokes the spirit of early colonial music, and Sousa’s “March of the States,” known for its popular tunes from Sousa’s era. In addition, the evening will showcase the second annual “Picture the Music” art presentation, along with various other American musical selections. Join us for a night dedicated to celebrating the rich musical heritage of America.

Enjoy a lively evening filled with toe-tapping Sousa marches, exciting overtures, and lighter tunes reminiscent of a traditional Sousa Band program. The concert will include the presentation of the annual Gail Woolley Scholarship Award, which honors an outstanding high school musician. An outstanding soloist will also be highlighted during the performance.

A night of fun and stimulating music highlighting marches, lyrical tunes and solos and ensembles from the Lima Area Concert Band. Light snacks are provided while the audience enjoys sitting around tables throughout the exhibit hall. A night sure to leave you tapping your feet and humming tunes.

The British Are Coming!

The Lima Area Concert Band presents an evening dedicated to the music of British composers and the sounds of the British Isles. From iconic Beatles hits to the works of Gustav Holst and Percy Grainger, the concert will feature some of the best-known band music from England.
